Is this an official Michigan motorcycle test?
No. These are independent educational practice tests and are not affiliated with or endorsed by the Michigan Secretary of State.
How do I obtain a CY endorsement?
Use an approved rider course or the TIP route with required knowledge and skills testing. Applicants under 18 must complete an approved motorcycle safety course.
How long is a motorcycle TIP valid?
It is valid for 180 days. Michigan generally permits no more than two motorcycle TIPs in a 10-year period.
May a TIP holder ride at night or carry a passenger?
No. TIP holders may ride only during the day, may not carry passengers, and require constant visual supervision by a licensed motorcycle operator age 18 or older.
When is a helmet required?
A helmet is required for riders under 21 and during an approved course or skills test. Any older-rider exception has additional endorsement-or-course and insurance conditions.
How many questions are available?
Six 25-question tests provide 150 original questions with explanations and official-source links.
