The Pennsylvania Junior Learner’s Permit Test is the official PennDOT knowledge test for teen drivers under 18. Passing this exam allows you to get a Junior Learner’s Permit so you can start supervised driving with a licensed adult in Pennsylvania.
The PennDOT teen knowledge test has 18 multiple-choice questions. You must answer at least 15 correctly to pass and receive your PA junior learner’s permit.
The Pennsylvania Junior Learner’s Permit Test includes questions on: road signs, traffic signals, right-of-way, speed limits, school bus laws, work zones, DUI rules, and basic safe driving practices. All questions come from the Pennsylvania Driver’s Manual.
